What is The Mape Project?

This OpenSource project wants to implement modular engine (application server)
for developing database applications with support for more different GUIs
(like wxWindow, Gtk, KDE and also text ones). All data operations will be
independent on display method and all data and display methods
will described in XML. It will be possible to write application modules
in many programing languages those allow to embed
Mape's C API to the language (for example Python, Tcl, C/C++, Perl).
